This policy explains how Favor Church PH Inc. (“Favor Church”) handles personal information in the Connect Portal at connect.favor.church. The portal serves authorized Connect Leaders and church teams who manage groups, attendance, signups, and member care. It applies to this portal, including Google sign-in.
Information we collect
You sign in to the portal through our identity provider Auth0, including with Google. The portal receives your account details from Auth0, such as your name and email address. We never handle your Google password.
Leaders use the portal to record and view Connect group information held in Favor Church’s Rock RMS database, including group membership, attendance, visitors, signups, contact details, and care notes. Which records you can see depends on your role.
Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are installed on the portal to measure usage and performance. The portal also sets a sign-in session cookie through Auth0 and a cookie that records the portal’s major version.
How Google sign-in data is accessed and used
Google sign-in is one way to authenticate to Favor Church Connect Portal. The portal uses the identity details Auth0 provides to confirm your sign-in and to look up the Favor Church person record that matches your email address. That record determines which Connect Portal features you can access. Your name and email address are also attached to care notes you submit.
The portal does not use Google sign-in to read your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or personal Google Calendar events. Other Google services in the portal are separate from Google sign-in: embedded YouTube videos, and room scheduling, which creates events in a Favor Church Google Workspace calendar using a church-managed service account. A room booking event includes the booker’s name and email address, and the booker receives the calendar invitation.
Why we use information
- To sign you in and decide which leader pages and records you can open.
- To manage Connect groups, attendance, signups, and care notes.
- To notify the group’s Connect and Regional Leaders, through Rock, when care notes are submitted.
- To create a room reservation calendar event and invite the booker.
- To measure how the portal is used and how well it performs.
Storage and sharing
The portal works with these services, which receive or hold information as described above: Auth0 (sign-in), Rock RMS (person, group, attendance, and care note records), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google Analytics, Google Workspace Calendar (room scheduling), and YouTube (embedded videos).
Retention and security
This policy does not set fixed retention periods. How long a record is kept depends on the type of record and the purposes described above.
Leader pages and records require signing in and are limited by role. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Access, correction, and deletion requests
